Chit~Chat Chart...pull a square of the chart when a child is talking while the teacher is talking. If all 3 are pulled before recess...they have to run/walk laps. Don't take recess away as a punishment.

allow kids to always leave notes, questions, concerns, art pictures.this will keep their little pictures off the top of my desk! (Might need a box bigger than a shoe box)

Love this idea! Pull a name from the Mystery Hero jar. Don't say their name, but let kids know you are watching your Mystery Hero. If the Mystery Hero does a good job reward them, and if they aren't on their best behavior just say to the class that the Mystery Hero needs to try harder. Don't call the student out or let students know who it was.

Self-Assessment Station: Novice, Apprentice, Practitioner, Expert (Common Core all the way!) So students aren't embarrassed by separating this papers maybe have stickers or something to put on paper instead.
