Orange Campfire Cakes- Slice the top of the number off your oranges and scoop out the flesh. Fill each orange with prepared cake mix being careful to leave enough room for rising. We filled ours just over half way and that seemed to do the trick. Wrap in foil and tuck in hot coals for around 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Let cool and serve with a spoon.

Campfire Orange Cakes - This wasn't the website where I orginially got the idea, because I remember reading 20 minutes of fire time and I'm glad we went by that. Fill the oranges 3/4 full or less with batter as it will expand. Unwrap foil and set oranges on the grass to cool for a bit. Then give them to the kids in napkins, as the orange is a bit black on the outside. Super yummy!!
campfire cupcake - I made these for my son's 1/2 birthday treat at school and they turned out great! I went the easy route with a devils food cake mix & made a delicious butter cream frosting but the graham, chocolate and marshmallow toppers made it complete.
campfires... love the smell, love them any time any place.. I even love to cook on a campfire!
