This is one of my favorites. Make a simple chandelier out of a hula-hoop and a few strings of lights. Icicle lights generally work the best, because of how they dangle. Spray paint the it to the color of your choosing. White usually works best. Wrap the hula-hoop in the lights and then tie some fishing line around 3 or 4 sections of it and then hang it up. It can be used any time of year!
1 hula hoop (spray painted) + 2 strings of icicle lights and duct tape = outdoor dining area chandelier. Or use the hula hoop as a wreath form.
"Hula hoop, sheets and ribbons. Why did I never think of using a hula hoop to make forts?" - Ooh! This could be like having your very own portable changing room for when you go to the beach and they don't have bathrooms and you don't want to get the car all sandy. Just tie it up to the nearest tree/pole/object and presto!
Love it! Def want to try for a party at some point. I think this would also be cute in a child's room with a string of some other colored lights as well.
