This is why I never yell when in an argument. What's the point in yelling? As soon as you yell, they stop listening.

The lessons are in the struggle! I struggle with this all the time, constantly having to remind myself that they need to learn how to make difficult choices and that they can be strong in difficult times. For the difficult times and difficult choices will always come.

Make those kids work for some things! I see it all the time in school. Kids take the easy way out by taking classes at a way lower level than they should be.
