Pebble-Filled Tray Make a boot tray by the door even better: Fill it with stones (found at garden centers). Ice and snow will melt and drain through the rocks to the bottom of the tray, so your boots won't stand in a puddle. Most of the moisture will evaporate, but you should clean out the tray regularly....Neat idea for the mudroom

I love these!! I have to make them and put them in my entrance way/hall next to front door (or back) Less than 10 dollars. ♥

Looks almost too nice to be the "mud- room-entry" to a laundry room, and I'm not sure how practical it would be, but I do love the storage-behind-doors (louvered for ventilation), and the natural wood floor. Even the skylight is gorgeous. I would make it a bit wider, put a cushion on the bench, and provide under-bench shoe storage.

This is a great website... just have to do some searching. Great ideas collected from the web by Infarrantly Creative.

simple DIY mudroom idea: Shelf, Nice Brackets and hooks. I like this shelf idea. But I think there still needs to be a cubby above it.
