Every couple of months sprinkle a mixture of baking soda and a tablespoon of your favorite fabric softener over your mattress, let it sit for an hour, and then vacuum it up. DIY shampoo n Conditioner You will need: 1 cup baking soda 3 cups water 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (ACV) 1/4 cup olive oil (or almond, avocado, sunflower, or any other moisturizing oil you please) A few drops of your favorite essential oil (To add a wonderful smell to your hair) To make the shampoo: Mix baking soda, water and a few drops of essential oil of choice To make the "conditioner": Mix the ACV, olive oil and a few drops of your favorite essential oil
