You could probably do this with a jelly roll (in color and in white) - sew two long strips together, cut them to make square blocks, and piece the square blocks together alternating horizontal and vertical orientations to get the zigzag effect.

Beautiful! Love the simplicity of this. Three strip widths sewn randomly sewn together. Blocks will always be the same size so they are easy to twist and turn.

3 Hamptons Charm Packs + 3 yds Sailboat Blue for backing. 73"x55", Corners are chamfered. Easy as pie!

Easy quilt- love this, something to just throw on the couch and cuddle up with. Would probably do it in a mix of Amy Butler prints. Would also be cute and comfy in flannels.

Scrap quilt - 6 in. squares, 2 squares stacked, cut in half diagonally (corner to corner), sew 2 together to make square...voila!

Quilt top idea -- four patches in the center with each edged -- 20 blocks total

another variation....this time a 9 patch, but it would work for a 16 patch

now that i have learned an easy way to do triangles, I think this quilt will have to get made!!

you can never have enough quilts in your house.#Repin By:Pinterest++ for iPad#
