Soulless by Gail Carriger: steampunk paranormal romance. Book 1 of the Parasol Protectorate | This is absolutely awesome. It's steampunk Amelia Peabody, with vampires & werewolves. Alas, no pyramids or tombs (yet.) Rec'd by a friend

Steampunk, Victorian era with vampires, werewolves, and ghosts as an accepted part of society. Oh and the main character has no soul and can negate supernatural powers with physical contact. The whole series is worth reading.
