    Humus recipe and 5 layer greek dip with: humus, olives, red bell pepper, fresh dill, cucumber, and feta SHOPPING LIST: -Hummus (homemade or store bought) -red bell pepper -kalamata olivws -cucumber -feta cheese -fresh dill If you've never made hummus at home, it's easier than you'd think. Plus it's more cost effective than buying it premade, even if you're using organic ingredients. Easy Hummus -Two 15 oz. cans of chickpeas/garbanzo beans -1/3 cup of liquid from the can of chickpeas -2 cloves of garlic finely minced or 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder -Juice from 1/2 lemon -3 tablespoons of olive or grapeseed oil -2 tablespoons of tahini (sesame seed paste) -1 teaspoon of salt Directions: Mix all the ingredients in a food processor until the consistency is smooth. Yes, it's that easy. 5 Layer Greek Dip 1. Finely chop olive, bell pepper, cucumber, and dill. 2. Spread hummus about 1-2 inches thick in the bottom of a wide serving dish. 3. Sprinkle the vegetables evenly over the hummus. 4. Crumble feta cheese on top. 5. Sprinkle bits of dill and serve with warm pita slices. Enjoy!

7-layer Greek dip hummus, light cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, chopped Kalamata olives, green onions, feta cheese, and a sprinkling of parsley. Plus, you can either scoop it up with whole-wheat pita chips or even vegetables. It’s a great variation of the classic Mexican 7-layer Dip minus the sour cream and cheddar cheese. Sounds delicious! Maybe try without cream cheese since it has feta too.

This layered mediterranean dip is so easy and great for entertaining. Made this for a potluck and it was gone by the end! I made the hummus, but in the interests of time I bought a basil pesto instead of making the cilantro pesto recipe in the link. I couldn't find oven-dried tomatoes but the sun-dried tomatoes were great with it. Served with pita chips & pita bread. Verrrrrry tasty!
