How to Prep Cloth Diapers, and DIY recipe for cloth-safe detergent

And one more, without a pithy one-word description: there's nothing like involving verbal kids in diaper changes and giving them some much-needed agency by asking "Do you want to change into the zebra diaper or the purple star diaper?"

Where was this when my kids were in diapers?!!?!? LOVE cloth diapers!!!!

I really-really *hope* when Zach and I have kids one day we do cloth diapers. I do NOT want to spend a ton of money on disposable diapers nor do I want to put all that waste into the earth. I say all this 'now'...I know experience will always yield a different outcome than I ever anticipated but I do hope to give this a go. Ralphie's been practice! Lol

There were no disposable diapers when I had my children and cloth diapers were not such a bad thing. I can't see spending $2,000+ a year on diapers.

I did disposable with my first 3, I do cloth with my 4th. LOVE cloth. There are so many options! I find all in ones to be the easiest and most like a disposable.
