#DIY Forget paper bag luminaries...mason jars are the way to go. Save those spaghetti sauce jars or find cast-offs at the thrift store then use a little white glue to apply recycled tissue paper to the outsides of the jars...drop in some beeswax tea lights and youve just made magic...
Another fun use for Mason Jars: You can use hose clamps to secure the jars to a piece of wood and use it to store all sorts of things. Office supplies above your desk, scissors above your craft table, wooden spoons in the kitchen. So many fun ideas!

@leslie walther These are so amazing, I HAVE to share - I'm making them for a friend for one of her Bridal Shower Favors.. but they would make GREAT decor around your home, or for any wedding, etc. This website shows how to make them, and gives examples of what photos would appear BEST in the jar (colored, B, Sepia, etc.) Therefore, you can use whichever photo you think looks best!! Find a couple canning jars at the thrift store in two different sizes that would work as hand soap dispensers for the bathroom and kitchen. Choose a basic glossy white spray paint and spray it on the outside of the jars. Then take a nail and hammer it into the center of the jars' lids to start a hole. Use needle nose pliers to pull the tin back enough to fit the soap dispens...
