9. Most people that are in the work force usually specialize in one field and they usually have a yearly salary. Although stay-at-home mothers don't get paid, they are valuable workers. They don't just specialize in one area. They must wear many different hats and are extremely versatile.
I tell people if I were lazy or scared of hard work, I'd go back to work. I stay at home because I feel the Lord has asked that of me. It's not a lack of education, skills, or desires of my own. It's knowing my children, who I was blessed to have and raise, are more important. Teaching them myself, watching them learn, being a part of their everyday means more than a second car and bigger house. It's the hardest thing I've ever done but the most rewarding thing I'll ever do.
