4 pounds of some type of roast meat (rump roast, chuck roast, etc!) 1 can (10.5 oz) beef broth 1 can (10.5 oz) french onion soup 1 bottle or can (12 oz) beer (or equal amount of water or broth) french rolls or other crusty rolls sliced cheese (we love Swiss or Provolone with these!)
Slow-Cooker Pot Roast 1 T cornstarch 8 carrots 2 onions salt & pepper 3 lb beef chuck roast, trimmed 2 T Worcestershire sauce Stir together cornstarch and 2 tablespoons cold water until smooth. Add carrots and onions; season with salt and pepper, and toss. Season roast& drizzle with Worcestershire. Cook high 6 hrs (low, 10 hrs). Thinly slice against the grain. This is going in my crock pot tonight....and it's smelling amazing. 4 chicken breasts, 1 block of cream cheese, 2 cans of cream of chicken soup, and a packet of zesty Italian dressing mix. 4 hours until supper! :) We're having iit over penne though...I don't really love farfalle.
