Wine cork herb labels with wood skewers. Great for this idea but could be adapted for table place holders, adding names, a little ribbon, and lay over the plate.

Wine cork plant markers: such a smart, easy idea. Another GREAT idea for all those wine corks I keep hanging onto - my garden is so ready.

Twig Plant Marker How-To 1. Gather small branches, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch around, in an easily worked but sturdy wood, such as maple. 2. With a vegetable peeler, strip a couple of inches of bark at one end, making a flat surface, and use permanent marker [or stamps + ink] to record the name. Note: If the wood is green and oozing sap, let it dry overnight before writing.

Markers - made with large glass gems from the Dollar Tree. Printed designs are mod podged to the backs of half the gems (the backs of the other half are painted white). The gems are then glued together and to the top of the sticks. Or maybe even print chores off, use the same technique - with a magnet on the back and stick to a painted cookie sheet

(These are gorgeous.) Self-watering planter made from recycled wine bottles. Might save me from my inability to keep things alive...
