George IV (1820-1830)was born in St James's Palace on 12 Aug 1762. He was the eldest son of George III & Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. He was king of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Ireland & Hanover from 29 Jan 1820 until his death on 26 June 1830. He had earlier served as Prince Regent when his father, George III, went insane.
