5 Parenting Strategies to Develop a Growth Mindset
I have a daughter who seems hates challenges. She'd rather get mad and give up than persevere. She does not have what professor Angela Duckworth calls grit and author Carol Dweck calls it a growth mindset. And I'm sad. (And kind of worried, too.)
This is a good idea for behavior management in the classroom. In Beautiful Child, Torey dealt with a lot of problem behavior. This could be made in to a sign that would be hung in the "cool down spot" in a corner of the room. Although it may not work with every student, it could be helpful to at least one.
