Baked Ziti - Made this recently. It was yummy and easy and made enough for a couple dinners and a lunch. I used what I had on hand which happened to be rigatoni noodles and a jar of sauce which had italian sausage in it. Turned out delicious with both substitutions, especially the hint of italian sausage in with the ground beef. Will make again!
Baked Ziti! 12 ounces rigatoni pasta 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 3 spicy Italian sausages, casings removed 1/2 yellow onion, diced 1 green bell pepper, seeded and diced 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 1/2 cups homemade or store bought marinara 1 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese 1/2 parmesan, grated salt and pepper to taste
