Paint Chip Synonyms... I know its a teaching trick for elementary school teachers but I might actually use this

Using paint chips as "Synonym Cards." Could create it to be something like the "Tired Word Wall."

Building Word Families puzzle game. This is a great activity for the students to make words and be able to push their sounds.

Pebble or Rock Words: A word that is a pebble does not tip the scale like a rock. Rocks are strong and have muscle! Find rocks outside your classroom and decorate the rocks to make Rock Garden of Words. We are always on the look out during read aloud time for Rock Words. At writing time, we are trying to put Rock words in our stories.
