Could make with the kids, plus, good reason to get outside in the crisp fall air! Not hard to make: get a foam cone, cover in pine cones with hot glue, add holly from craft store.

Pretty Pinecones. Tori says: "This has to be one of the cheapest, cute decorations I have made this year. Just simply collect pine cones from your local woods, park etc. wash them in soapy water and leave to dry. Then paint them in shades of colours to match your Christmas decor. I also PVA glued a few and sprinkled them in coarse glitter to give them an icy effect."

Christmas centerpiece, using a tiered plate rack or tiered baskets for the base and adding natural greens and ornaments - lights, too!

Station one turkey at each setting with a place card.

Bunny craft. Would leave open in center to be used as a mask, with a giant popsicle stick hot-glued to bottom.
