shelves at the end of the counter- cookbook storage. Open-Shelf Storage Solution

  • Beth Plater

Open-Shelf Storage Solution - Boost storage and display space in a kitchen by capping off a run of cabinets with open shelves. These shelves face the adjoining breakfast room and offer a convenient spot for storing cookbooks. The shelf unit also rises slightly above the counter surface to help hide clutter.

Storage spaces @Beverly Weidner. I do believe I'm going to do this over my new refrigerator!!! What a great idea since the cabinet will not look right up higher if we put it back!!!

Love when a design plan is well thought out! Creative Counter Space: Creative stow-and-go solutions are a must in a small kitchen space. Here, a rolling cart tucks neatly into this island to offer additional workspace as needed. The cart can be wheeled throughout the kitchen to give multiple cooks room for meal prep and staging.

I've always loved this kitchen. The open kitchen shelves, perfect styling and great colors are a lovely touch. I love, love, love the mini grey subway tiles.

Boost Kitchen Storage- Whether your kitchen is large or small, ample storage is always a selling point. Take advantage of unclaimed wall or corner space with open shelves to keep dishes, spices, and cookware within easy reach. Embellish plain shelves with decorative brackets to add personality. If you frequently entertain, consider mounting a wine rack next to cabinetry.

white subway tile backsplash with white open shelves, farm sink and granite countertops. Beautiful. Except I know from experience that those things will get a disgusting film on them from being out in the open if they aren't being used and washed ALL THE TIME. Sigh

all same color

Let a copper tray be part of your serveware. And when not in use, an open shelve is the perfect place to admire it!

Open Storage - love the idea of removing the linen closet door! Removing bulky linen closet doors helped open up the small bathroom and keep items accessible. Corralling like items ? wash cloths, cosmetics, etc. -- in baskets prevents the open storage from looking cluttered

This is very much my style--open, natural wood shelving, and all the dishes are cute. And there are polka dots!
