As (happy) tears ran down Ella Fitzgerald face, she started to reflect on the early days and long dark bus rides as well as the low pay. Before leaving the stage, Ella Fitzgerald said "the nurse wrapped me in a clean rag at birth, but I'm ending life in haute couture."
