Katrien de Blauwer developed her collage practice while studying fashion but later it became her full focus. She creates fairly simple compositions from found photography and magazine cuttings, usually juxtaposing just one or two images to create an ambiguous narrative.

I like how this photo was edited to look like the lady is looking through a wall. Very neat.

I like how this photo was edited to look like the lady is looking through a wall.look closely, it also appears as if the three triangles are shards of glass with her image broken up.

Keeping most of the collage black and white with one piece of colour is a good way to show to create hierarchy that demonstrates the most important imagery from the play.
