INSTRUCTION/UNDERSTANDING: This is a great anchor chart to help students build vocabulary and expression! Teaching students that words have various meanings and effect can help them understand how words also give certain expressions. Ex. the words 'said' and 'whisper' mean the same thing but give the reader a different expression to use when reading.
