Giant rock surrounded by cracked ice of Lake Baikal, Siberia. Lake Baikal has some of the cleanest, purest water on earth. It's the biggest lake on earth. It holds 20% of the worlds fresh water. Holding more water than all the Great Lakes combined. It is more than a mile deep, or 1,700 meters deep (1.7 kilometers). Deepest lake on earth. It sits cupped at the crux of three different tectonic plates.
