File this under Growth MIndset tools! This is a wonderful anchor chart. Perhaps one of the few times I might include the "what not to do" when coaching, teaching or modeling!

AN2.1 a- This is a good example of a chart you could do with your students. Have the students tell you what they think they know about an animal (in this case spiders), what they want to know, and how they know that information. (A slight adaptation from this KWL chart). A good way to get students engaged in the topic they are about to study by posing questions and recording their responses.
