Le Sacre Coeur de Paris is one of the most recognizable buildings in the city of light. It is the "coeur" of the bohemian neighbourhood, Montmartre and maybe not so "sacre" when artists flirted with absinthe and prostitutes in other times. Either way, today this white basilica is a romantic reference for those who visit it. Don't miss the view from its viewpoint. One of the best of Paris.

To Claire: Sacre Coeur Cathedral, Paris Marg drowned her mobile phone here (leaky water bottle in her bag). When we got home you gave her a phone that was identical to the one she lost. This is one of our favourite Paris stories now!
