Antique Cameo Bracelet with Sapphire Stones Italian Filigree Vintage

Peace Tiara - gold and micromosaic medallions at the front of doves, framed in palmettes, copied from a mosaic in an early Christian church in Rome. The gold setting, decorated with corded wire and beading, along with the use of glass mosaics, is in the Etruscan style, made fashionable by the Achaeological Revival jewellery of Castellani of Rome. Difficult to attribute place of origin to the gold setting, but the beading and filigree is characteristic of Roman work.
