For my contribution to this month’s DaaM, I’ve prepared a nifty little breakfast dish I call Chicks in a Nest. The “nest” is a cup made out of shredded hash brown-style potatoes, and and the “chicks” are scrambled eggs which are served inside.
Easy Mini Chicken Pot Pies. These are actually more like chicken pot biscuits, and they were great. I used fresh veggies instead of frozen and added corn and yellow squash. I also only used half the cheese. They were a hit, good for kids and adults.
Need a crowd-pleasing brunch that also works as a breakfast-for-dinner option? This ham-and-bacon casserole is cheesy, flaky and savory. Betty member JGI suggests eating any leftovers cold as an on-the-run breakfast. “Definitely a family favorite!”
