1840s figured silk evening gown; deaccession from NY museum, lined bodice, self fabric buttons, piped at seams, back hook & eye closure, cartridridge pleated waist, side front slit pocked, attached calico printed petticoat of an earlier fabric, carcenet facing; bust: 36"; waist: 26"; 56" from shoulder to front hem; inner sleeve seams likely resewen in period
