I don't use any corriander and sometimes cut back a little on the chili powder and cumin if I don't want it quite as hot. I will never EVER go back to store bought taco seasoning!! I made a ton of this last year and gave it away as Christmas gifts.
Taco Dip (many more yummy dips at this site!) 1/2 lb ground beef 1 can refried beans (I use fat-free) 1 packet taco seasoning 8 oz sour cream 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Preheat oven to 350. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, drain. Mix beans, cooked ground beef and taco seasoning. Spread bean mixture in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread the sour cream on top of the beans and then top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes - until cheese is bubbly. Serve with Fritos.
What You Need 1 tablespoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon paprika 2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper What To Do Mix all ingredients together. Use 2 FULL Tablespoons of seasoning for 1 pound of beef.
