I think this would be fun with one of those tacky, old gold, frames that used to be so popular. I would under-paint it with hammered bronze spray paint first, then go over it with the turquoise (or another color) but not completely cover up the bronze. Then of course you would have to have a mirror cut to fit, but that is pretty inexpensive. Would be such a FUN project! LOVE IT!!

Haha... Reminds me of my princess room in high school! Would love to have another pink room one day!

Oh My Glozell! My Cowboy Danny would draw the line here... however, it's awesome! :o)

I haven't seen Le Creuset in pink! so pretty! as are the vintage items!

If you choose to use nail head, for heaven's sake, don't be tacky. Skip the nailhead-on-a-roll and do it the old fasioned way, one at a time. It isn't harder, it's just way slower, but guess what? You are already building a headboard, what is one more hour? Plus it won't accidentally get snagged during any, ahem, bedroom festivities.

cheap updates...This girl has my exact taste in PRETTY! I adore all of her things! Ahhh....to be single in your 20's and live ALONE! Pretty soft with lights, soft palettes with a touch of brights, and PINK! hahaha! ;) Pre kids and furry creatures! I would miss them though!

chandalier - looking for one just like this!
