Good explanation of Haikus for my older kids. In April, the whole front of my circulation desk becomes a poetry wall. I buy cheap decorative post-its from target and the kids are allowed to write a poem on them and stick it to the wall. At the end of the month we host a poetry night and students can read one of those poems!
