Great built-in bed idea for an attic bedroom, especially for kids

great way to use the attic portion or awkward bonus room ceiling space of a house and provide lots of sleeping space. I want each child to have their own room, but I just love the idea for a bunk room. Would be nice to incorporate it into the house and they could use it for sleepovers and then transform the room into something else later.

Bad link but awesome idea for a future grand kids room!! use the attic portion or awkward bonus room ceiling space of a house and provide lots of sleeping space.

Bunk beds, attic style. This would be so cool on one side and the other be books. A cute way to have more sleep space and slumber party space for kids. Not sure I want this in my office though? Maybe do in the old house in the guest room?

Love to do this in one of the attics off the side of the FROG room!

******** I am thinking that the upstairs bathroom wall at the Cambridge house should be finished this way...nice.

This image is giving me some new ideas. Liking the elevated bed and added storage. The raised surface looks to be 10"-12" inches wider than the mattress.

ellaminnowpeas: Built in bed inside the closet. How cute! I really like that. But I would add a reading light and it would be perfect!

And it was there they found her: wrapped in a plush throw, the Jane Austen novel resting next to her, as she slept peacefully.

Could convert an attic space to this, and of course the over abundance of pillows is required :)

cob a-frame interior. I want this as a getaway home in some northern woods somewhere where I can get snowed in with books and my hubby and blankets and a fireplace.
