Her hypnotic music lured sailors to their death. The rock soars 120 m (393ft) above the water line.

Kottenforst in autumn, near Bonn, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Beethoven's connection with nature started in these woods at a young age. When he was free of his strict musical instruction & chaotic home life he would escape to the tranquillity of these woods.
