    Freeze fresh herbs

    Use a cupcake tin to make fruit-filled ice cubes, then add them to pitchers of water or sangria at your spring and summer parties.

    Working with 6 tortillas at a time, wrap in a barely damp cloth or paper towel and microwave on High until steamed, about 30 seconds. Lay the tortillas on a clean work surface and coat both sides with cooking spray. Then carefully drape each tortilla over two bars of the oven rack. Bake at 375°F until crispy, 7 to 10 minutes.     Freezing Cilantro

    (Works! My strawberries usually would last only a week, but after this they lasted 2.5!!) Cleaning fruit - fill sink with water, add 1 C. vinegar, mix. Add all fruit and soak for 10 minutes. Water will be dirty and fruit will sparkle with no wax or dirty film. Great for Berries too--keeps them from molding. will DEF have to try this!

    Freezing buttermilk or heavy cream cubes for cooking. I never use a whole carton nor do I have in stock when a recipe calls for a bit! This is genius!

    Freeze avocados once they're ripe! Great for when they go on sale, or when you need an avocado and they're all too firm at the store. They keep for MONTHS this way! Who knew?

    Herb Scissors - I usually use scissors to cut up fresh herbs into my cooking anyway but these look far more efficient!

    How to roast garlic: cut tops off of cloves (as in picture), place each head in one compartment on a muffin tin, pour 2 tbsp olive oil on top of each head, add fresh cracked pepper and maldon sea salt, cover lightly with aluminum foil, bake for 1 hour at 400°F. Spread on french bread or eat plain. So good.

    Brazilian Shrimp Soup: used parsley instead of cilantro, can diced tomatoes, vegetable broth instead of water, added fresh sliced okra, and served soup over top of rice. Will try chicken broth and fresh spicy peppers next time.
