TV Detective Shows from the 70s-The Rockford Files. One of my favorite actors, James Garner, in one of my favorite shows.
"This is Jim Rockford. At the tone, leave your name and message and I'll get back to you." James Garner was the ex-convict turned detective in the hit show "The Rockford Files." The shows typically opened with someone leaving a recording on his message machine that they could not afford to pay his $200.00 a day rate plus expenses. Jim Rockford lived in a mobile home and chased down "seemingly long-dead clues in the sun-baked streets and seamy alleys of Los Angeles."
I loved THE ROCKFORD FILES! James Garner was ALWAYS nice to watch! Love him!
