A cardboard letter, Elmer's glue, aluminum foil and paint= Awesome DIY letter on the cheap! Original pinner added instructions - Start with one of the cardboard "block letters" and use hot glue - not Elmer's glue to make swirls/designs and let it dry/harden. Use spray adhesive and wrap the letter with aluminum foil (pressing it down carefully). Spray paint with a bronze paint (Valspar). Someone else suggested wiping down with shoe polish! Gotta try.

glue, foil, and some other stuff on cardboard letters. links to a couple of other intersting projects, too.

Beautiful idea but $32 on etsy + $10 s/h. I know that I can make this for about 2-3 bucks with a piece of barn wood, leftover kids blocks and some hooks. I don't care that much for the black blocks think that I would distress them in their natural colors
