    I find this lens sometimes does not auto-focus. Maybe I purchased a bad one but it seems to be quite temperamental.

    I have a D3200 (a little amateurish, I know, I know, but I love it!) and from all research I have done, it seems like a great option: (according to Nikon, it is compatible) Soooo, because local photo equipment store carries those for a really good price, I will go ahead and buy one soon!

    My experience with the 35mm. is awesome. Marvelous bokeh, brilliant colors, low deformation. I recommend it.

    Or for half the price get the older 50mm f/1.8 D which is just as good, if not better and will also work on FX as well as DX.

Nikon 1 is compact and lightweight and features interchangeable lens, Speedlight, GPS unit, grip, and cases.
