Marilyn Monroe by Ben Heine. This portrait is made with thousands of flat circles—each circle placed individually on a black background. Designated as Digital Circlism, this portrait series seems to be a synthesis of Pop Art and Pointillism
While at first glance these stunning black and white portraits look like they were created in Illustrator, you'd be surprised to find out they're actually pen drawings. 20-year-old England-based artist Josh Bryan has a set called Triangulations where he's taken some well-known celebrities - like Marilyn Monroe, Albert Einstein, Helen Bonham Carter, and Johnny Knoxville - and created their likeness in abstract, geometric form. Hundreds of tiny triangles make up each face.
