This is a set of I have who has cards for numbers 1-20 using number words, ten frames, dice, base ten, digits. The link comes with a free download of this entire set. According to Marzano's research, this would be a nonlinguistic represeantion game. Each card uses different visuals, including ten frames, tally marks, dice, blocks, and the written numbers. It also would be cooperative learning because students play this game as a class. Listening and seeing everyone's cards.

Maybe make an anchor chart for numbers 1-20 to keep up in the wall for a while?

There is no printable but seems easy enough to make: number sense - might be a great center activity for 1st grade math! Should always have one math center deal with basic facts. This one might need to be parent/para/teacher led until the students get used to how to do it.

This is dealing with number sense.If I would have students each create one of these numbers, then hang them all in my math area of the room.
