Fun Christmas cards that kids can make. Tutorial here:

I give all the strips to my little friends and they must put them in order from shortest to tallest before gluing them on their paper. I check each one first. Such great math skill practice but in a fun way! Last, we add snow with white paint and a q-tip.

I saw this the other day on pinterest and loved it! My kiddos had a lot of fun and learned to say (in a complete sentence) "I am taller/shorter than__" Great for ELL's.

Footprint Reindeer- great idea for over-sized Christmas cards. I think I may make this an activity to do with the kids I nanny and then incorporate it into the "parent gift" for Christmas. I have never met a mom that didn't like something with hand/foot prints.
