This is an interesting concept; the boards are different thicknesses as well as different species. Picture this table with all boards the same thickness. Now look at the edge around the table...this is similar to what I foresee your table edge looking like. We can round it over more/less, we can use some stain to have it more closely resemble the weathered look on the top, etc...but this is what I was concerned about when I said it would show a lot of "end grain" (all reclaimed..mostly…
