Sarah Richardson Robin's Bedroom "My daughters' rooms aren't too 'kiddie.' My girls' bedrooms are playful and appeal to their imaginations, but they'll also last for the long haul. Robin's room has a floral fabric on the drapes and headboard, and since she loves pink, I painted the lower part of the wall a rosy shade. My mom gave me the quilt on her bed when I was a teenager." Check out this neat trick: Sarah hung curtain rods from the ceiling.

Designer Sarah Richardson combined different patterns and textures for a true cottage look in this red-and-white master bedroom sitting area. The painted knotty pine hardwood flooring and wall paneling add to the rustic look, and the experimentation with color with the furniture and accessories is a welcoming, lighthearted approach to cottage style.

old chenille bedspread: NEW bed pillows :) Love Sarah Richardson, love her bedrooms, this is her daughter's. This headboard is delicious! matching curtains in room are just yummy & not sticky girly, just ageless!

LOVE! A soft color scheme of yellow, white and graphite makes the main bathroom in Sarah Richardson's farmhouse feel like a country afternoon: bright and fresh. A vintage bathtub and other timeworn treasures fit the old-fashioned home.

Bet you couldn't tell this sunny bedroom is actually located in a basement. Sarah maximized the small amount of natural light with plenty of crisp white in the room's walls, bedding and flooring. A bold, graphic wallpaper adds textural interest while the custom, arched headboard in a cheery green shade really pops.

Sarah Richardson Sarah designed the large kitchen to be functional and family-friendly, but not too sleek for a century-old home. Vintage details, such as the salvaged corbels supporting the open shelving, preserve the kitchen's old-fashioned feel and add a hint of sunny yellow to the space.

Sara Richardson on HGTV is my favorite designer...she styled this baby's room and I think it's great
