      Quiche Lorraine I #allrecipes Made this and I approve!!! Add an extra egg and fresh cracked pepper, use cream and creme fraiche, and saute bacon with onions and mushrooms.

      Quiche Lorraine: 1 (9 inch) pie crust, 12 slices bacon, 1 cup Swiss cheese, 1/3 cup minced onion, 4 eggs, beaten, 2 cups light cream, ¾ tsp salt, ¼ tsp white sugar, 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

      Quiche Lorraine I Only used 1 c cream + 1/2 c. milk. 4 slices of bacon. 5 eggs. Microwaved big bowl of fresh spinach to add.

      Quiche Lorraine recipe, plus a few changes equaled Best Quiche Ever!! Following the reviews I made the following changes. Swapped out the swiss for chedder, caramelized the onions in the leftover bacon grease, swapped out the cream for milk, left out the salt and sugar, and added about a cup of thawed spinach. Also tripled the eggs and put it in a 10x10, then just added 10-20 minutes cook time.
