    Sorry if you were on my "side", not sure if you were responding to me. My point was this isn't truly real, because since there is a difference, then if she's never heard before she wouldn't be able to understand the words, only hear them. I was probably too subtle with my comment.

    I am HOH/Deaf.. As much as this brought a tear to my eye.. I also agree with Lydia, hearing and understanding are so very different. I hear new sounds all the time, and have to ask what was that, as I dont understand.
