Magnolias....Are these really magnolias or is this the flowers of a tulip tree? The tulip tree has more blossoms (like this picture) and its flowers are fewer, and surrounded by the big glossy green leaves.

SPRING CROCUS:The crocus means love, thanks to its legendary link to Valentine's Day. According to legend, Valentinus was a jailed doctor and Christian priest who sent the blind daughter of his jailer a crocus. The flower's healing powers brought her sight, and her first vision was the flower and Valentinus's note, "From your Valentine."

daffodils! Across the street from our first home the neighbors had an empty lot. We moved in during Jan. and in March of that year I looked out my front window one morning and saw a scene very much like this! It was breathtaking and for the 14 years we lived there I loved every spring watching for the daffodils. I'm sure Mrs. Esham (who planted the flowers) is long gone, but thank you anyway!

Orange Bunny Rolls. Pinner says: We made the lime option with cardamom for Easter breakfast. They were. awesome, but untwisted a bit in the oven as they rose (looked like they were trying to run off the pan) Next time I think I'll make the ropes thinner and the twists more losely to compensate for the dough thickening as it rises.

Bunny cookie bark. Makes a great Easter gift wrapped in cellophane and ribbon.
