Dream Catcher - Full Moon January 9, 2012 With Crescent Moon Charm, Light Rust Leather and Dove Feathers

9 inch Hoop (Medium Large Size) Light Rust leather, Wooden Pony Beads, Dove feathers, and a coppery crescent moon and star charm. I always include a signed card with the date and legend of the dream catcher with each hand made item. Hand Made Full Moon Dream Catcher by Lela Cargill, B.A. Descendant of Laughing Fairy of the Choctaw Tribe. Practicing Spiritualist - My Choctaw guide is Shikoba Humma (Red Feather) This dream catcher was finished January 9, 2012 and was hung outside with the full moon. I dance and send power to the dream catcher so that whoever becomes its owner will have pleasant dreams for many moons to come! Native Americans believe that the night is filled with dreams. The dream catcher catches the dreams as they flow by. The good dreams know how to pass through the web of the dream catcher and enter the sleep of the owner. The bad dreams get tangled in the web and are destroyed by daylight. My dream catchers are infused with all the power that I can give them. One owner told me that he had not been able to sleep well for 6 years. My spirit guide came to me in a dream and told me to make a dream catcher specifically for him. After hanging his dream catcher, he came to see me the next day and gave me a huge hug and kiss and told me that he had never been able to sleep so well and that I literally saved his life because he was very depressed over his disturbing dreams. I have learned to make my dream catchers during the waxing moon, never when it is waning. I complete them on the day or night of the full moon and then hang them where the moonlight will empower them. I also now incorporate stars in the design which represent the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades Constellation and the power of the Universe. (There are actually nine stars in the Pleiades - two of the stars are said to be the father and mother of the seven sisters). I learned a small Choctaw dance to send dream power to my new dreamcatchers and I call on my spirit guide to help me with the designs. If this dream catcher speaks to you, please be assured that you will be buying a quality, unique, one of a kind hand made dream catcher that will provide a conduit for your good dreams. It also doubles as a delightful door decoration (like a wreath). Have a pleasant night! Combined shipping is negotiable. This item ships in a USPS Medium Flat-Rate box or envelope.

Natural Grizzly Dream Catcher Feather Earring Extra Long 8-9 inches, You Choose Feather Symbolism, Turkey, Guinea, Rooster Feathers

*******Single Dream Catcher Earring********* Please specify from the drop down menu the color and quantity. A single feather earring is $15.00 and the set is $28.00. From left to right: BROWN turkey feather, WHITE grizzly rooster, and BLACK spotted guinea are available. Thanks! These hang 8-9 inches long. For a long time I've been trying to design the perfect dream catcher earring. Dream catchers are so beautiful and have a very powerful symbolism. These are made with round metal loops wrapped with maroon colored string, a silver colored bead and a variety of natural or dyes feathers. These are great for daydreamers...These earrings are made to filter out negative thoughts and keep the positive ones close to you! *For a set of dream catcher earrings please see listings below: http://www.etsy.com/listing/83187257/dream-catcher-feather-earring-set-extra http://www.etsy.com/listing/80651746/long-dreamcatcher-feather-earrings-candy Dream catcher Symbolism: It's dark. The night air is filled with dreams...good and bad! A dream catcher is hanging close to the cradle or bed, swaying in the night breezes. Dreams must pass through it to get to the sleeper. Bad ones get tangled in the web, but the good ones know how to pass through the center hole and glide down the feathers. The morning sun shines on it and the bad dreams caught in its web "expire". The dream catcher originated with the Ojibway (Chippewa) tribe. Feather Symbolism: White feathers symbolize purification, spirituality, hope, protection, peace, and blessings of the Moon. Gray feathers symbolize peace and neutrality. Brown feathers give stability and respect. They also symbolize the home and grounding. Brown feathers striped in black, like the tail feathers of a pheasant, give a balance between the physical and spiritual life. Brown feathers banded or mixed with white bring happiness and give the kind of protection that enables one to go unnoticed amidst those who would harm them. Brown and red mixed feathers bring healing to animals. Black feathers give the mystical wisdom that comes with true spiritual initiation. Black, iridescent feathers give mystical insight. Black and white mixed feathers give union and protection. Black (or gray) feathers banded or mixed with white give hope, balance and harmony. Black mixed with purple means deep spirituality. Black, white, and blue mixed feathers brings change. The rooster's two prominent tail feathers (called sickles) are symbols of the God and Goddess. The black ones are sacred to the God because of their resemblance to the curved horns of the Horned God. They are also a symbol of male virility. The white ones are sacred to the Goddess because they resemble the tool (the sickle) with which grain (sacred to her) is reaped. They also resemble the waxing and waning Moon. Made with love, Enjoy! AZ
