Nonsensical gibberish to a book lover
This is so true in my life!!
Books, Books everywhere!
I am a bookworm :)
this is what my mom does to me all the time. this makes the girls at my school very happy but I get upset when I have to give away books... Awesome Things,Bookish Things,Books,Funny shit,Literature,Love to read,Nerd Girl
There's a certain magic to books that can't be explained. The feeling of turning the page . The feeling of opening it up and feel like you're accessing a new world. The physical representation of the world as the book itself. Amazing #books #booklover #bookworm #magical #reading #readingismagical
kindles don't have this kind of magic. Real books will always have relevance, there's nothing like the smell of an old book, or a new one for that matter. Gotta admit, I love the Kindle app for living on an island with a limited selection though. True Bibliophiles gobble up whatever they can get their hands on. Love to read an old book with history, though.
"Kindles don't have this kind of magic."
I don't believe that people who have Kindles are real book lovers.
It's so true. I'd rather have a book. Kindle versions may be cheaper, but real books give you a different feeling, really
Oh the smell of old books just makes me happy...there is just something about it. I hate e-readers...books are soooo much better!
I find this to be especially true of old books. Admit it, all true booklovers have picked up a good aged book, opened the pages and smelled that sucker.

Books, books, books
I have just 1 1/2 days left until I begin my new job...full-time mom. I have to admit, I am more nervous about this job than I have been about any other job I have ever held. This is, by far, the most important job I have ever had. As a matter of fact, I am so nervous about it, I have developed shingles...again! I think that I will enjoy it and I know it is something I will get used to, but I can't help worrying about officially leaving the "working world" for the time being (all stay-at-home moms know it is much easier to work than to stay at home--taking care of babies is hard work!). The move to Richmond will take place in just 5 short weeks. We are SO excited about this change. Things seem to be coming together. I have an interview next week for a part-time position (2 days a week in the evening) working with adult learners. I have found a great Pre-K program that Kale will attend 2 days a week in the morning. We felt it was key that he attend some type of Pre-K program for the social interaction (he is not the greatest around other kids). I have also been researching Richmond and have found tons of fun activities for us to do this summer. I haven't taken many picture lately, so I decided to include some quotes I found on pinterest. I love reading and am always looking for a good book. I particularly love series, but always feel like a little piece of me is missing whenever I get to the end... Amen! I know this will probably really be my prayer in the coming days of being home with my boys... I couldn't help but laugh when I read this! Going to Wal-Mart used to be a chore. Now it is one of my favorite activities! I love my husband! Having a 2 1/2 year old can be very, very challenging at times. He is right in the middle of the terrible twos and the tantrums are truly terrible! Some days it feels like he whines and cries nonstop. But some days--oh, he is so sweet. He loves his little brother fiercely! He likes for Liam to go everywhere he goes and actually attempts to carry him around sometimes. (This is difficult considering Liam only weighs 3 lbs less than Kale.) He kisses and hugs on Liam constantly and everything he talks about is "Ni."
Dear Kindle, you may have tried to replicate the "look" of an actual page with your version "Kindle Paperwhite", however, you will never replicate the feel of a book in my hands, the smell that comes from the pages, and you will NEVER evoke the memories of the time spent building upon my own imagination and vast worlds that I devoted my life to enjoying. Sincerely, a book nerd.
This is why I prefer the actual book, than it on a kindel. I just love the feel of the pages, and the smell of a new book.
BOOK LOVER. I rather have the feel of the book & the feel of actually turning the pages than just have a small electronic in my hand.. I'm one of those people that always has her phone & other electronics in her hand but when it comes to reading books I want it to be the actual book not a tablet/ereader..
Seriously. Get some real books. Besides, the smell of a new book is amazing, and the feeling you get when you add a book is too!
And this is why I cannot understand why people think I'm crazy for preferring to actually have the books. It makes me feel more connected to the story to hold a real book. BOOKS ARE WAY BETTER!!!
nothing nothing ever will compare to choosing, then touching, opening a real book EVER! the way it smells the feel of a new book - it is an experience, a joy , an event even that a machine just cannot replace!
Real books lovers don't care about how impressive their library looks!

Can't tell you how many times I have re read a book I love and my family looks at me like I am weird. But they can watch a movie over and over and think nothing of it .....ugh. Some people just don't understand :)
✓ People always ask me why I reread books if I already know what's going to happen. I tell them it's like watching a movie you've already seen, only better.
i love rereading books! the best is when I can't remember everything and get surprised all over again!
This would be the Wheel of Time series for me and Harry potter
this is so true. i was a mess after i finished harry potter & then again when i finished the hunger games.
Exactly, this happened after I read Harry potter the first time, 3 years ago, then after Percy Jackson the first time 3 years ago, then the hunger games last year. I always have to re read them like 6 times
After I read a good book, I have a hard time coping with reality. Also, while I'm reading a good book!
"After I read a good book I have a hard time coping with reality" because it doesn't include talking horses and dragons.
So true lol! Actually, I have a hard time coping with reality on a daily basis...
OMG THIS: "After I read a good book, I have a hard time coping with reality."
After I read a good #book I have a hard time coping with reality. So true...
Basically my life revolves around the hunger games right now...
