Places / Dublin, Ireland... Castle house Island NO WAY! That cant be real!

  • Jade Mira

This is not in Ireland, Dublin. Actually it doesn't exist as one. The rock is in Thailand and the castle is only a portion of Lichtenstein Castle (which is in Germany). There is a claim on the Internet along with the claim that "Castle House Island" is a real place in Dublin, Ireland. It's actually "James Bond Island" in Khao Phing Kan, Thailand. The castle was placed on the photo using Photoshop. So moral of the day, don't believe everything you see on the internet ;)

Inishmore, Clare, Ireland On the southwest part of the island the cliffs are high and pounded directly by the Atlantic, which cuts out caves that blow spray into the air with each wave. The cliff walls are always wet with rainwater and spray, so they're streaked with bright green moss.

This Ruin is known as " The Witches Castle" is located in the towering pine trees of Forest Park, near downtown Portland Oregon. Abandoned in the early-1900's the structure is covered in green lichen, moss, and ferns. I'd love to hear why its associated with Witches if anybody knows any more of this haunt.

Ireland - Happy St. Patrick's Day It is easy to see from this true-color image why Ireland is called the Emerald Isle. Intense green vegetation, primarily grassland, covers most of the country except for the exposed rock on mountaintops. Ireland owes its greenness to moderate temperatures and moist air. The Atlantic Ocean, particularly the warm currents in the North Atlantic Drift, gives the country a more temperate climate than most others at the same latitude. Credit: NASA
