She is beautiful. plus, i love how that dress was amazing in 1979, and is still amazing 30 years later. fashion does not equal style. meryl streep= style.
Meryl Streep from 48 Things That Will Make You Feel Old via Buzzfeed. Yay she looks the same, but the fact that women are expected to look nearly identical to what they looked liked 30 years ago is insane.
saturdaymorninglove:fearlessnessxo: veritasdico: this woman’s beauty just doesnt fade She’s like “Fuck yeah, I can still pull this shit off bitches.” Meryl Streep has been thanked in acceptance speeches more often than God or Jesus
48 Things That Will Make You Feel Old - Is anyone else amazed that Meryl Streep is wearing the same outfit from 30 years ago and looks just as beautiful?! I'll have what she's taking!
Looking amazing in the same dress 30 years later, and Meryl Streep - two of my favorite things.
Timeless style may be Meryl Streep's key to eternal beauty. --- shes phenomenal

Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in the 1980's, years after their divorce. This has got to be one of my all time favorite pictures of them!!! Brings tears to my eyes even now. They were TRUE love. Lucy was just too strong to live in the womanizing. But that kind of love comes once a lifetime.
Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in the 1980's, years after their divorce. Most know that they didn't have a fairy tale marriage, but this is just too sweet to see that they still had live for each other after all those years.

thatsjustelegant: A colour photo of Vivien Leigh behind the scenes of Gone With The Wind, 1939.
Vivien Leigh on the set of 'Gone With The Wind' in 1939. David O. Selznick used a nationwide casting call to get people excited about the film before he was even sure it would be made. The search for the perfect Scarlett cost over $1.6 million in today's money with 1,400 women throwing their hats in to the ring. 400 actresses actually read for the role. Of those, 19 were given screen tests. Paulette Goddard and Vivien Leigh were the only two finalists shot in the more expensive Technicolor. Goddard might have gotten the role, but she was living with Charlie Chaplin out of wedlock and so was considered too controversial a choice in the end. Ironically, the married Leigh was openly having an affair with the married Laurence Olivier at the same time. This was apparently not controversial.

A beautiful young Betty White at The New Hollywood Casino in Kansas City. 777 Hollywood Casino Blvd, Kansas City, KS 66111
Before she ever became a Golden Girl, told a story about St. Olaf, or stepped foot in a wicker-swathed TV version of Florida, Betty White was a Hollywood stalwart who was such a familiar face that she has earned Emmy nods in every decade except the very first of the awards ceremony. Here: White in 1957. Beautiful!!

One of the best actresses of our time and seriously the BEST part of Downton Abbey: Dame Maggie Smith.
Dame Maggie Smith is literally the strongest woman in the media. She has always been full of grace and poise, but with a strong feminine aspect. She doesn't take garbage from anyone. She is so brilliant in her acting, I love seeing her in movies and television shows. She's a tough cookie.
Dame Maggie Smith. This lady was battling cancer during the filming of some of the final Harry Potter movies. She continued to act, not wanting to disappoint the fans.
I give you: Dame Maggie Smith. Love her. Don't know whether to pin this on Downton or Harry Potter!
I give you: Dame Maggie Smith. Love her! We're just missing Sister Act and Harry Potter.
